Donate your car and feed 20 families!

DONATE your
Old, Unwanted Car or Truck...

And feed 20 families by helping our community food drive, Sunday in the Country of Millerton!

Here's how to help, in three
quick & easy steps:

Step #1. You give us a call. We welcome any unwanted "junk" cars and trucks to be recycled. Our service area is the Hudson Valley, the Berkshires and Western Connecticut.

Step #2. We come to your home or business with our own tow truck. We're local people, the Simmons family of Millerton.

Step #3. Your donation helps feed local families. Just one donated car or truck will enable 20 families to be fed through Sunday in the Country Food Drive. Since 1995, Sunday in the Country has fed over 10,000 people by distributing Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys and food baskets, as well as supplying food pantries throughout the year. As a donor, you'll feel good about giving, and you'll receive a tax-deductible donation receipt. The donation amount depends on the vehicle's make, model, condition and whether parts are salvageable. Vehicles are recycled for scrap and parts, so your donation is good for the earth too. It's a win-win situation for everyone. Family with turkey dinner

To donate your car or truck, call 860-671-1391 and ask for Lou.

We also accept your unwanted machinery, farm equipment and large trucks because we have the towing capacity to haul away even the largest items, including old farm tractors, dump trucks, quarry parts and machinery, excavation equipment, old busses, etc. Call us!
All vehicle recycling is handled personally by Lou Simmons in partnership with his nephew Bill Simmons of Sunday in the Country. Sunday in the Country Food Drive is a non-profit organization located in Millerton, New York. The group is supported by a network of neighbors: families, individuals, fire departments, businesses and the listening audience of the Sunday in the Country Radio Show which can be heard every Sunday morning from 6 a.m. to 12 noon on WQQQ 103.3 FM, Lakeville, Connecticut. Sunday in the Country Food Drive has official 501c3 charitable status, so donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Click here for more information. If you have questions or comments, please give us a call. Thank you!
